Custom Made Browbands     With Large Swarovski Crystals Instead of the common crystal browband that has a tiny row of crystals that only stand 2mm tall, why not have a browband of distinction?  Let the crystals be large so the color and sparkle can be seen all the way across the arena! Hotske has been modeling her fancy stones for a while now, and we are ready to offer them for sale!

These Swarovski Crystals are truly special.  Most of them are "vintage" having been manufactured in the mid-1900's in West Germany.  The stones are now being discovered and sold by collectors in mint condition.  The style you see above is called a Rivloi shape.  They are foil backed so that they sparkle brilliantly. I am offering the stones in my collection to be used in custom browbands that will be made to order. View all the Swarovski crystals in my collection below.

The leather browbands are made right here in the USA of supple, black leather.  The style I prefer to use is flat, (rather than raised) so that the larger stones can fit well into the surface of the leather.  This is a flattering style that tapers from one inch wide at the center, to a half-inch wide at the ends.  Custom lengths are available from 15" to 17" from end to end.  The most popular length for large horses, is 16.5" from end to end.  Many horses fit in a full sized bridle, but need the extra half inch width in the browband for a comfortable fit.  Most full sized bridles come with a 16" browband.  Cob bridles are 15". I have two Sommer brand bowbands available in the tradidional raised (dressage) style, one is 15.5" and the other is 16".  These can not acommodate stones larger than about 8-10mm Price Guidelines for Custom Browbands: Three stone browband $55.00 and up*      Three large stones same color or mixed, 14mm size Five stone Browband $65 and up*               Five large stones same color or mixed averaging 14mm Seven stone browband $75 and up*           Seven Stones tapering in size from 14mm and smaller With this tapered style leather, it looks very good to have a large stone in the middle, and then slightly smaller stones of another color on either side. *Prices can vary according to the rarity and price of the Crystal. The browband above was designed for a chestnut Hannoverian gelding.  It matches his color perfectly!  The center stone represents his owner. One Ernite oval 18x13mm, and six Topaz Round 8mm.

Horseshoe Hoof Picks.  Each hoofpick is unique because it is made from a shoe that was worn by a horse.  These picks come in different widths and lengths due to the style of shoe they are made from.  These picks can be personalized with a Name stamped into the steel, and a Horse's Head can be forged onto the handle.  Pictured below are some hoofpicks of the past...
