Here we are with our beach buddies Ahni
and her horse Koa. Like Hotske, Ahni has
raised Koa and trained him since he was a
foal. This was Koa's second time to the
beach and he loved it. They trotted and
galloped through the water making a big
splash.

I'm laughing because Hotske just
did two sassy hops that unseated
me a bit at the canter.

It didn't take long for Hotske to start playing
in the water. She wasn't as confident with a
rider on her back. She sank into the sand a
lot.
