FHANA - Friesian Horse Assn of North America
Hotske P. is a FHANA registered Friesian bred by Jack and Betty Piersma in Lynden, WA.  I found her on the mainland while at farrier school. I brought her down to Corvallis, OR and we spent two months together becomming best friends. In April she flew to Hawaii to be the first Friesian on Maui.  We have a special bond together. She is a fearless horse who loves everyone she meets.

Long lines at 12 months old.
As with all horse training, it's nice to have friends who are happy to help.CLICK HERE to see our Beach page.
Here is what I found at the end of the rainbow.
Makawao 4th of July parade. Hotske wears plumeria leis. She is in the parade every year.  This july will be her fifth time.
Galloping in for dinner.  She comes when called!
Playing in the rain is always good fun.
Age Two
After the Christmas Prade in the Rain. (Age 1.5)  We were soaked!  I had already taken my field boots off so you can see my socks.  Hotske did great, but with the rain and excitement, I decided to lead her instead of use long lines.
Hotske as a baby
Tarps and water are both OK.
